摘要
臺灣發展生態工程迄今已十餘年,初階段大都應用於河川及山坡地治理,現階段則因技術的日臻成熟,再加上生態社區的推廣日益殷切,因此已逐漸延伸至社區或城市的應用,並且與綠建築及節能減碳等議題相互結合,而地工合成材更是發展此一技術不可或缺的關鍵材料之一,本文將逐一說明地工合材於河川護岸的治理、植生復育與生態環境營造成效、水質淨化及都市逕流雨水削減等所發揮的功效。相較於砌石及石籠護岸,地工合成材應用於護岸工程,除可提高其沖蝕臨界流速之外,亦可發揮較佳的植生復育成效,且所展現之植生物種多樣性亦可以營造較佳的生態環境;於水質淨化方面,地工合成材使用於呈層複合土壤水質淨化系統之微生物菌培殖及耐久性表現亦較傳統使用麻布纖維佳,故可以發揮較穩定且長效之水質淨化功能;另地工合成材亦常使用於低衝擊開發設施,並扮演阻留土壤與過濾排水的功效,以削減並延緩都市暴雨逕流,達到防災的功效,本文亦將以植生綠屋頂為例,說明地工合成材的設計參考準則。

Over the past decade, the ecological engineering methods in Taiwan have been concentrated principally in river remediation and slope protection. The development of these methods nowadays has been gradually implemented into the application of the eco-community as well as the combined topics of green building, energy saving and carbon reduction. Geosynthetics is one of the indispensable materials for the development of this subject. This paper introduces the applications of revetment works, vegetation recovery, ecological environment creation, water purification and reduction in the runoff of urban storm-water. For revetment works, the critical flow velocity of soil erosion of the geosynthetics revetment is higher than stone-paved and gabion embankment; it also it has a better performance on vegetation recovery and biodiversity can create a better ecological environment. Moreover, the effectiveness of microbe culture on multi-soil layering water purification system using geosynthetics is better than that of using linen. Therefore, geosynthetics are the durable and stable materials for water purification system. In addition, geosynthetics can provide good soil retention and filtration on low impact development facilities to reduce and delay the runoff of urban storm-water. For the case of vegetated roof using geosynthetics, this paper meets the design criteria.
